The Ganesh Mandir,Dombivli East.
It is believed that , in past years, people were find the need for Ganpati mandir so that they can seek blessing before starting any new work. Since there was no Ganpati Mandir at that time in Dombivli East, Ganesh mandir was established on 22nd May 1924 at Phadke Road.
Ganesh mandir was intentionally kept open for all caste and creed. This shows the open culture and unity of Dombivlikars .It is also believed that when Ganesh Mandir Sansthan was established in 1926-27 which took over the management of the mandir. Just Rs. 2/- were the contributions collected at that time. Ambu Tai Godbole was the first pujari of the mandir in 1930 and was serving the mandir for few years.
One of the fact regarding ganesg mandir is the banyan tree present in the mandir premises is more than 100 years old.
The current building was built in 1952.
Sarvajanik Ganesh Utsav started in 1928 while the Mahalaxmi Utsav started in 1952.
In the year 1942, facilities were made for post death rituals in the mandir premises.
The mandir was illuminated by lights when there are festivals such as Dipawali ,Gudi padwa (marathi new year).Dipostav was also organised.
Various program such as bhajan 's and kirtans held at temple on various occasion.
The premises of temple was decorated with ''Sanskar Bharti'' -an art drawing Rangoli.

Serene & divine place, lord ganesha & other deities gracing all devotees from this place.
Temple premises is clean & well maintained. It's quite old & lot of devotees visit in numbers.
Atmosphere is very good, we can feel positive vibes. Must visit place.
